Welcome to Peach Tree Pottery!
Peach Tree Pottery is an intimate pottery studio and gallery for kids and adults interested in learning the basics of throwing on the potter’s wheel. Opened in 1998, our community of beginner and experienced artists continues to evolve, creating a dynamic space to explore your creativity and “get centered.” We offer single lessons, series classes, private instruction and group parties.
Call to schedule your lesson today, and come play in clay with us!
As seen on The Millionaire Matchmaker
The hit reality television series, The Millionaire Matchmaker, filmed an episode at our studio! The episode aired on January 15 on Bravo, but you can still catch it online. Tune in to watch sparks fly on the potter’s wheel!
Saturday Kids Class
Our next Saturday Kids Class will meet from 11:30am – 1pm on May 9, 16, 23 and 30. The cost is $145 for the Series of 4.
Students will spend two weeks learning to throw bowls, cups, plates, and more on the potter’s wheel, one week learning to trim their thrown work, and one week glazing. All work will be bisque and glaze fired, resulting in lovely keepsakes for your child to take home.
Summer Kids Camps
We are holding three Summer Kids Camps this year! Sessions meet from 9:30am to 1pm on the following days…
Summer Session 1:
Summer Session 2:
Summer Session 3:
Sessions will focus on wheel throwing, making bowls, cups and plates, and carving and using slips for surface decoration. Kids will also work on hand built projects or combine hand building techniques with thrown forms. Projects may include piggy banks, wind chimes, or 3D landscapes.
Light, healthy snacks will be provided (fruit, crackers, juice and water) with a pizza lunch on the final day of camp.
Cost: $300 per child. 50% non-refundable tuition due upon registration.
The loveliest gifts are ones where you can make something beautiful, have fun and get a little messy. PTP gift certificates are available for pottery and wheel throwing classes. Birthdays, Weddings, Anniversaries, and everything in between.
